Advancing Teams

By DIVA policy, teams will advance from the Regional Tournament to the Affiliate Tournament based on the following numbers of teams in each level of each challenge:

1-9 teams: 1st and 2nd places advance

10-19 teams: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places advance

20+ teams at one site: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places advance

20+ teams at split sites: 1st and 2nd places from each site advance

(e.g. The Theatrical Challenge has 32 Elementary Level teams: 16 at site A and 16 at site B; 1st and 2nd from both sites A and B advance)

By DI, Inc. policy, teams will advance from the Affiliate Tournament to Global Finals based on the following criteria:

1st and 2nd places for all Challenges plus Wildcard(s)
